Hey guys I thought I'd share this video I found on Youtube. It's one the horror romance movie 'Let the Right One In' play to the song Pieces by Red. If you haven't seen the movie it's like 'Twilight' only less chessy. Even thought it still has the lovey-dovey romance in it, it dosen't stir far from being what is was ment to be a horror movie.
Plot:
A fragile, anxious boy, 12-year-old Oskar is regularly bullied by his stronger classmates but never strikes back. The lonely boy's wish for a friend seems to come true when he meets Eli, also 12, who moves in next door to him with her father. A pale, serious young girl, she only comes out at night and doesn't seem affected by the freezing temperatures.

Coinciding with Eli's arrival is a series of inexplicable disappearances and murders. One man is found tied to a tree, another frozen in the lake, a woman bitten in the neck. Blood seems to be the common denominator and for an introverted boy like Oskar, who is fascinated by gruesome stories, it doesn't take long before he figures out that Eli is a vampire. But by now a subtle romance has blossomed between Oskar and Eli, and she gives him the strength to fight back against his aggressors. Oskar becomes increasingly aware of the tragic, inhuman dimension of Eli's plight, but cannot bring himself to forsake her. Frozen forever in a twelve-year-old's body, with all the burgeoning feelings and confused emotions of a young adolescent, Eli knows that she can only continue to live if she keeps on moving. But when Oskar faces his darkest hour, Eli returns to defend him the only way she can ...

There is a rumor going on that Jensen Ackles, but mostly known as Dean Winchester to the Supernatural fans as Dean Winchester will play the title role of the upcoming 2011 comic book movie 'Captain America: The First Avenger'. The movie will take palace during the World War II era showing the origin of how Steve Rogers went from a sickly young man to becoming one the greatest hero's in history as he battles the Nazi Ragime and their own super solider the Red Skull.

Summary: Xander Harris gose as a gun-weilding vigilante for Halloween. The day after he is pleaged by the memories and nightmares of the vigilante and is guided by a voice who tell him to extract punishment on those who pray on the innocent. He starts to get a hold of himself, until Angelus is released and when people die at his hands. Xander starts to slowly and painfully tranform into The Punisher.


 

I'm a big fan of the Punisher and was disappointed with last two. But hopefuly Hollywood gets it right this time. The new Punisher will be Ray Stevenson from Rome and Dominic West from 300 will play the villan Jigsaw.
These were the first trailers shown at Comic Con. The first more like a teaser, the second is a red band trailer showing how violent the movie is. So if you squmish don't watch it.

Hey, I've been busy for the past weeks. But now I'm ready to back on the keyboard again continuing my series of SPN, SV, Highlander and The Crow crossover, Warbound. Also I'm starting to work on answering a couple challenges to the site Twisting the Hellmouth involving Halloween and two my favorite comic book heroes, Captain America and The Punisher. If your interested let me know because the plot bunnies are threatening to blow up my head like in 'Scanners'.

 

Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, better known as John Winchester by us Supernatural fans, will play the role as The Comedian in the upcoming movie adaptation of the cult comic book classic the Watchmen. This is no doubt one of the best things to happen in his career with Watchmen being on of the best cult comics ever made and the Comedian one of the most contraversial hero in the comics of all time. I would like to see how he will pull this off when the film comes out.
